Drôme Provençale is a calcareous region with a good number of cliffs and around 1500 shady or sunny routes, with sun rising or setting.
With sloping wedges and small columns, the cliffs provide a wealth of opportunities for the novice, intermediate or experienced climber.
The majority of climbing areas is located in the Baronnies, with a couple of rare diamonds: Saint Julien and La Baume Rousse.
