The « Comité d'Expansion Touristique et Economique de la Drôme Provençale » is an Association called « loi 1901 » which emerged from a political idea of realizing a global promotion of this tourist destination.
Drôme Provençale s is a network of 155 towns and villages referred to as “communes”, in the south of the Drôme Department in France.
In 2002, the Association’s statutes were modified so as to open the Association to professionals: local actors of development and tourism. As a consequence, various groups of professionals and individual professionals are now members of the Association and, with the elected members, can make joint decisions.
Now, the Association has the support of more than 200 professional members, while taking care of promotion and communication.
The Association’s missions have also been redefined, so it is in charge of guaranteeing the quality of the “tourist offer” on the territory, that is to say, the development of labels, nature and landscapes preservation and protection…

All the information on-line are provided by a system called “SITRA” (System of Tourist Information in Rhône-Alpes). This database is updated by all the Tourist Offices of the region, Drôme’s Board of Tourism and all its different partners.
The information and prices for “ideas of stays and week-ends” are given as an indication and are under the partners’ legal responsibilities. If there’s no contrary indication, the given prices are for a large bedroom (2 adults). On-line availability and reservation are provided thanks to “Open System”. It enables professionals to give direct information linked to their offers.
